Third Trimester

Wow. Today I move to that mark that I always put "really pregnant" women at: the third trimester. I'm happy about it because that means pregnancy will eventually end (even though I'm still in the enjoying it phase), but it makes me nervous because there's still so much to do. Even today's activities will include spraying weeds, going to an Usborne training meeting, a stop at the post office, picking up my mom's Mother's Day gift, grocery shopping, and general house cleaning. I'm kind of tired just thinking about it.

There are also a lot of things that I appreciate about this time in life. I have a husband who loves me as much as I love him and is ecstatic that we're having a baby. He even wanted a girl first, so that adds to the wonderfulness. The baby is healthy and moving around well, which makes me all kinds of happy. I'm now in the "cute" part when my baby belly is distinguishable and nicely rounded. I have not yet moved into the "grotesque" part of pregnancy where all you can think about is how uncomfortable the mother must be or wonder how she carries that sand-filled beach ball under her shirt. Yikes.
