World's Most Awesome Maternity Pants

A couple of months before I got pregnant I heard about a new belly fit from The Motherhood. It's called Secret Fit. Just from looking at pictures of it, I wasn't sure what to think. It just looked like a simple, over-the-belly panel. It's not. Earlier this week I decided to go into my local Motherhood store and pick up a pair of the denim capris shown to the right. What pregnant woman doesn't need that kind of summer staple?

When I first held up the capris to look at them, I was still a little doubtful. They are just like any pair of maternity pants, except that they are attached to a belly that reminds me of pantyhose. The difference is that the secret fit belly has no seams. It's one piece all the way around. I tried them on, anyway, and fell in love. The belly stays securely in place without squishing the belly. It's actually really comfortable to wear. After I got them home I took what I consider to be the ultimate test: I reached down and touched my toes several times to see how far down the pants went. To my delight, I didn't have to pull them back up into position. They stayed in place! The panel fabric is light and breathable, so I won't die in the middle of the summer when I'm fatter than ever. Whoever invented these is a genius and deserves a medal for making pregnant women's lives easier. If I had the money, I would replace all my maternity pants with secret fit pants. The capris cost me $19.98, so they weren't hideously expensive, either. They have this belly fit in pants, skirts, and shorts. I think I'm in love.

whats hillarious about this ost, is that when I was pregnant with my first 3 kids (my first being 11 years ago) all maternity pants were made like this! They went away for a while though and for more "fashionable" styles. They are really comfy though, huh?

I disagree I had kids 11 years ago also and had pants with panels all the way around but they are NOT like the secret fit they didn't stay up and had elastic at the top to try and help them stay up. I LOVE my secret fit pants from motherhood the only problem I have is they don't make as many styles in the bigger sizes that I am.
