...very modest baby. It took forever before baby would move into any kind of helpful position. Then I had to lay on my side for the tech to see anything. Before I continue, I'll just comment on the poll. The results show 5 people guessed boy and four guessed girl. My husband guessed girl on three different computers, so only one of those votes counts. Survey says 5 people guess boy and 2 guess girl. The tech says it's a GIRL!!! We're so excited to have her join our family.
Everything looks just fine, so this will be my last ultrasound. It took 45 minutes or more to get everything all scanned, but a lot of that was spent trying to get the baby to move out of her corner. She likes to curl up way down in my pelvis. There is plenty of fluid, she just likes to stay in her own little corner. That must be why I have to use the bathroom every two seconds. We thought it was sweet and hope it means that she will be a snuggly baby.
The placenta is attached to the front of my uterus, so that will mean it takes longer for me to feel the baby and longer for other people to feel her from the outside. She is also breech, just as she was at the last appointment. I know that doesn't mean anything with another 20 weeks of pregnancy in front of me, but I can at least prepare myself for a c-section if she can't or won't be turned.
We did get to have a video done because we were in a room with a VHS recorder. I'll just have to take it to my parents' house and switch it from VHS to DVD. It was a great time and we left very happy. It was great to have our moms there and see them be really excited, too. Now I get to dream of all the girl clothes I can put her in and all the other fun girl stuff. Eric says that now I'll have my own doll to play with.

Congratulations. I know you'll have tons of fun making adorable frilly dresses and outfits.
