I'm not sure if my symptoms have lessened or changed or if I'm just getting used to them. I've been popping pills like there's no tomorrow. Not, of course, before obsessively checking on WebMD and in my pregnancy book to make sure that it is one of the "approved" medications. Sudafed and Tylenol Cold have been my constant companions. Weird thing is that it worked the opposite way today. I was feeling okay enough that I forgot to take my pills until an hour after time to re-dose. I took them thinking that I would be sad soon if I didn't. About an hour later I felt worse than I had all day. So now I'm working on not taking another one until bed time. At least this way I'm not pumping foreign substances into the baby.
One of the major side effects of being sick is that I am thinking about that more than I am about being pregnant. It's violent enough that pregnancy takes a back seat. And it's too early for me to feel anything "pregnanty" yet. If you compare what happened last pregnancy (according to my pregnancy journal), then morning sickness is set to start the morning after tomorrow. I hope that holds off at least until I'm completely better from the cold. Here's to hoping.
