Economic Stimulus

I was really excited when I heard that the Economic Stimulus package had been signed. it will be good to get $600. At first I felt bad because I planned on using the money to pay bills, which is directly contrary to the point of the package. But you have to do what's best for your family, right? So I was a little bummed that I wouldn't be helping the economy. Then my pregnant brain found a little bit of light. "Hmmm...the money is coming in May and we have our first baby coming in August. We might need something like a crib or a changing table or other baby furniture." Ever since I have been so excited that I can use the money for soemthing we need, as well as using the money for what it was intended: staving off a recession. So now I can feel like I'm doing a good thing for my family, as well as performing my civic duty. And I can have a ton of fun looking at cribs like the ones below.

The Berkley Lifetime Crib at Babies R Us

The Hampton Crib at Target

The Da Vinci Parker Crib at Target

I think I like the darker stains and I know I want a convertible crib. After the crib money is used I think we'll use the rest for a dresser/changing table. After that we're deciding what we want. Now I just feel smart. Of ocurse, any idea is genius when your gestating baby leaves you no brain power.
