Two Week Appointment

Maya's two weeks appointment at the doctor came around today.  Everything looks good, though she hasn't quite gained back her birth weight.  This has been a concern of mine, as I never produced enough breastmilk for Eliana.  I've wanted to make sure that none of my other children go hungry as long as Ellie did.  We'll go back in a few days to re-weigh Maya and see if she is doing any better.  She doesn't look skinny or dehydrated so the doctor isn't concerned about it.  Maya will often refuse to be fed more and that's a good indication to me that she's getting enough to eat.  I'm okay to supplement if I need to, but I'd rather avoid that cost and hassle.  The value and portability of breastmilk really can't be beat. :)
