Tooth number four erupted through Ellie's gums yesterday. She started to scream for no reason. When I picked her up I wondered if that was the cause and looked in her mouth. Sure enough, there was a little bit of tooth poking up through the surface and some of the skin still intact. Poor thing. She takes it really well, but that's gotta hurt. I tried to take a picture to have a reference of what it looks like when a tooth is just coming through, but she didn't want to.
We bought her a couple of toys to help ease her pain and suffering. And because most of the toys she has right are below her development level. Besides, who doesn't need the stacking rings and the bucket with shaped blocks?

It's so true! Those are such classic toys that every kid should have the opportunity of using at some point! :)
So sad! I just never really thought about how much it must hurt to have teeth grow in. It's been awhile...no wonder babies are so fussy when they're teething! I hope those toys give her some relief! :)
