Big Day

First off, I'll let you know I have decided to go private with Eliana's blog so that I can post anything I want without fearing what someone may do with it. If you would like to be invited just leave me a comment. If you are sure I have your email address, just tell me. Eliana had a big day of firsts today. The lesser ones include being snowed upon and seeing our Christmas tree. We only put it up today, but it's lovely. Actually, Eric surprised me and put it up while I was at my Usborne meeting. He was also doing the laundry and had cleaned the kitchen so he could put in the new fridge our landlords got for the house. I have an awesome husband. Anyway, Eliana's big milestone today was rolling over from tummy to back. Hooray! I thought it would be much longer in coming because she doesn't tolerate tummy time well and, consequently, spends more time on her back. Maybe she really will crawl someday.

I would post a picture of immediately after the roll over, but she's a little naked in the shot. Nothing but her socks. I'll post it after we go private here. I had been trying to take naked baby blackmail pictures for use when she's a pre-teen and she decided it would be more fun to be on her back than on her tummy. I don't think she's very far away from rolling to tummy from back. She already gets pretty far onto her side. She just needs to get past that arm.

Until I post the rolling over picture, here's another to keep you busy. I've been trying to get a picture of Eliana's curious face. She gets so excited to see new things that she just moves and moves. My camera doesn't take the shots very quickly (I need a better one) and it's hard to get the curious face without her moving. That's why the picture is so fuzzy. And I was holding the camera in one hand and the baby in the other. Not a successful combination.

Here's a shot of before the rolling over. He hat came down over her eyes and she didn't seem to mind. It was funny to watch her try to see through the bottom.
