We've been doing the Your Baby Can Read program with Eliana for the past several weeks. It's actually been really neat to watch her. We've decided she's brilliant, as she will vocalize in several places during the video. Sometimes she will copy the number of syllables in a word and babble them. My favorite was when the word on the video was "baby" and during the part where you repeat the word she said, "bay-ee." That hasn't happened since, but we like to think that makes her a genius. What else are a mommy and daddy supposed to think?
One really fun part of doing this program with her is watching her during the songs. She reacts particularly well to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". We got a video of it this morning. Eliana doesn't seem to do command performances (she knew the camera was running), so she doesn't really get going until the second verse. She usually starts much earlier than that. Isn't it cute when she sings along?

What a great little voice! :)
Very cute!!
I love that she sings with it! Thanks for posting a video of it since she didn't really want to sing on Thanksgiving. :) She's so adorable!
