She's Here!

Our little Eliana was born Monday the 4th weighing in at 7lbs 8oz and 19 inches long (subtract an inch or so for the conehead. . .) She's beautiful and was born with lots of dark hair. Pictures will follow once we get home, and out of the hospital's slow internet.

WAHOOO!!! She knew I wanted to meet her before we move! We're soooo happy for you! I can't wait to see her and hear all about the birth (if we got so much detail on the mucus plug, I'm guessing you won't be shy about the labor and delivery)!

On my way back from our baby appointment today, I started our baby conversation the way I often do: "Well, on my friend's pregnancy blog, she said..." And then all of a sudden I said, "Oh my goodness! I think she might have had the baby!" So I came home and checked right away. Congratulations!!!! I'm so excited for you. Take care of yourself and your new little one! I'm still five months behind you, no matter how much I'd love to catch up. But believe me, I'll still be referencing your blog about as much as the rest of my pregnancy books!!
