Eighteen Weeks

Symptoms: I was sad this week to have lower back pain start. Grumble. I had this last time, but it manifested itself at closer to eight weeks. Thankfully, I just learned a couple of new stretches that are supposed to help.

Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment and I'm excited to hear our baby's heartbeat again. I swear there's no better sound in the world. A week after that is the big exciting ultrasound. I'm pretty excited about it. Everyone is asking right now if we want a boy or a girl and I respond that the gender I want most is "healthy."
